Discover Card New Cardmember Journey

We collaborated with stakeholders and technology to create a new strategy for onboarding cardmembers to the Discover digital ecosystem. This experience will be the first to incorporate the new DFS digital design language.

Discover Card Payments Experience

We used service design principles and methods to evaluate the current payments experience and recommend solutions for design, performance, and compliance.

Philosophy & Approach

Technology is an influential and constantly changing field. Some innovations stick around for decades while others become immediately obsolescent. Currently, we are fixated on AI and the connected home. Before that, it was digital cameras and iPods. Way before that it was pagers, fax machines, and typewriters. Regardless of hardware and software, humans need UX/UI in perpetuity.

Great user centered design starts with an expert understanding of principles that can flex to any business challenge or technology. All of my work is rooted in the Double Diamond process and the Innovation Triangle framework (i.e. desirability, feasibility, viability). It is our job create solutions that are good for humanity and allow people to do what they couldn’t do before.

About Me

Before my final semester at the Missouri School of Journalism, I was fortunate enough to discover content strategy and UX design. Through incredible mentorship and guidance, I learned the core principles and processes of user centricity. That spark led me to agency design teams at FCB, Leo Burnett, and Digitas.

Chicago is my home. I am an obsessive sports fan of Da Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and especially the White Sox. 🖤🤍

When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying live music or staying active with weightlifting and gravel biking.
